20 Things You May Have Missed In Creed

6. Michael B. Jordan Was Actually Knocked Down On Set

In a franchise that features actual pugilists and is known for a lack of body/stunt doubles, it is expected that the actor poised to take part in the boxing set pieces should brace themselves for a rather genuine blow to the face.

It turns out that this is an actual tradition in the Rocky saga, so much so that Dolph Lundgren hospitalized Sylvester Stallone while filming Rocky IV.

So, when it came to filming Creed, it was Michael B. Jordan's turn to take a mighty blow from his onscreen opponent. While he states that he was not actually knocked out, Tony Bellew's punch was still strong enough to floor the actor momentarily.
