7. The Main Reason Behind The Lack Of Outside Interference In The Underworld
One oft-mocked aspect of the world in the John Wick franchise is how most non-assassin characters (i.e. everyday people) are seemingly unfazed by the sometimes very public violent acts committed by John and his counterparts.
This also extends to law enforcement, especially in the first two movies. These flicks feature Officer Jimmy (Thomas Sadowski) and his interactions with John suggest he has an unspoken agreement with the deadly hitman.
This was expanded upon by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch in numerous interviews, revealing that the assassin underworld and the authorities had an understanding that meant that law enforcement would leave the assassins alone as long as their affairs did not spill over into the lives of ordinary citizens.
