4. The Remodelling Of Shreck’s Department Store
It’s time for logic to enter into the world of Batman Returns again!
On one of her first nights on the prowl, Catwoman blows the blazes out of the entire ground floor of Shreck’s Department Store, an act that surprises and impresses both Batman and The Penguin, who are stood outside at the time.
Seemingly on the very next morning, Bruce Wayne surprises Selina Kyle as she gazes, haunted, in the shop window of that very same department store. Even more surprising, perhaps, is that fact that, only a handful of days after the explosion, Max Shreck hosts his annual Maxsquerade Ball on the department store’s ground floor (as evidenced by The Penguin’s Duckmobile literally crashing the party).
Shreck must have a great team of surveyors, builders and interior decorators to be able to achieve such grand feats in such a small space of time…
