Mid-way through the movie Beetlejuice ends up at Dante's Inferno Room which, let's just call it what it is - it's a strip club, because he's clearly one hell of a horny "bio-exorcist."

And if that's not made plainly clear enough, moments before this we see Beetlejuice sprout spikes, thorns, or horns if you like, which continue to protrude from his body as her prances around with the establishment's scantily-clad ladies. Get it?

That Beetlejuice first sprouts the horns after Barbara picks him up is probably pretty telling too, honestly. In the very least, this is a visual gag kids haven't got a hope in hell of picking up on - let alone most adults, apparently.
