20 Things You Somehow Missed In Beetlejuice

4. Delia Was Written About In Art In America

While Delia is prepping the dinner party, she tells Lydia, "My agent, Bernard, is bringing a woman who writes for Art in America," a seemingly throwaway line which nevertheless gets a deliciously subtle payoff right at film's end.

Look closely in one of the final scenes and you'll see that Delia has a copy of an issue of Art in America displayed where she herself is featured on the front cover along with the sculptures which came to life and attacked her and Charles.

Better yet, the headline on the cover? "Images of the Afterlife." That's setup and payoff for you.
