20 Things You Somehow Missed In Django Unchained

19. Nash & Koons

When we briefly see the wanted poster for the Smitty Bacall gang, the names of two of the gang's members should stand out to fans of Tarantino's filmography - Gerald Nash and Crazy Craig Koons.

Given Tarantino's fondness for not-so-subtly implying a shared universe between his movies, we can safely infer that Nash is likely related to Reservoir Dogs' ill-fated kidnapped policeman Marvin Nash (Kirk Baltz).

As for Koons? That one's a little easier to remember - it's Vietnam War veteran Captain Koons from Pulp Fiction, played so memorably in a small role by Christopher Walken.

While the familial links themselves are vague at best, given that Tarantino imbues all of his movies with an exacting amount of detail, there's no way these namedrops were mere coincidence.
