20 Things You Somehow Missed In Django Unchained
15. Django's First Kill & Schultz's Last Kill Mirror Each Other
In another curious instance of kills throughout the movie mirroring each other, there's an intriguing parallel between Django's first kill and Schultz's last kill.
Django's first kill is Big John Brittle (M.C. Gainey), while Schult's last kill is Calvin Candie.
In both instances the same gun is used, with the victim being surprised by its concealed nature before being shot in the heart, all while blood spills onto a white object on their chest (a piece of paper and a flower respectively), and they then take a few seconds to fall down dead.
In the immortal words of George Lucas, "It's like poetry, it rhymes."
