11. The Pai Mei Unknowingly Gets Revenge Against Elle
During Beatrix's fight with Elle, Elle reveals that she killed their joint master, the Pai Mei (Gordon Liu), who they trained under alongside Bill.
Beatrix responds by ripping out Elle's remaining eye with her right hand, but if you paid close attention to a prior flashback, there's actually a secret significant meaning in Beatrix's act.
During the flashback where the Pai Mei is training a younger Beatrix, he defeats her and, while twisting her right arm in place, informs her, "It's my arm now. I can do what I please."
And so, with that logic, the Pai Mei indirectly managed to get revenge against Elle for killing him, given that Beatrix used her right arm - the one the Pai Mei "owns" - to remove Elle's remaining eye. Glorious.
