2. A Train That Was Out Of Time
There's a point in the movie where Rocky is staring into a mirror, feeling contemplative. The scene is made more poignant by the lonely echo of a whistle and the engine of a steam locomotive.
The only problem- the film took place in 1976, and diesel engines had long since replaced steam. They might as well had a biplane flying overhead or a model T rolling down the street.
