20 Things You Somehow Missed In Terminator 2: Judgment Day
18. Edward Furlong Visibly Ages Throughout The Movie
Edward Furlong gave one of the all-time greatest child performances in blockbuster history in the movie as a young John Connor, but because filming took almost six entire months, the 13-year-old Furlong matured considerably over the course of the shoot.
As a result, there are several scenes where Furlong looks noticeably younger, made all the more dizzying as the film was obviously shot out of sequence.
The mid-film detour to the desert is surely the most blatant example, given that it was shot early in production, after which Furlong underwent a significant growth spurt.
As a result, for one scene filmed late in production a hole had to be dug for Furlong to stand in, to ensure his height remained consistent enough between scenes.
