One of the T-1000's most brutal kills occurs when poor Pescadero security guard Lewis gets impaled through the left eye by the Terminator as it impersonates him.

While some fans have questioned why Lewis doesn't make any noise or scream for help as he dies, this is explained quite simply by some basic science.

By being stabbed through the left eye and out the other side, the left hemisphere of Lewis' brain has been impacted, and given that this is the side of the brain responsible for processing speech, it follows that Lewis can't let out more than a death rattle before shuffling off this mortal coil.
