With this 2012 release most definitely sitting as one of the most hotly-anticipated flicks of its time, Christopher Nolan did everything in his power to keep certain parts of his ever-twisting plot from trickling out to the public beforehand.

Among the many secrets brilliantly kept under wraps thanks to the magic of post-production tinkering, Bruce Wayne's name being present on a grave stone late in the Rises day wasn't actually the case when it came time to shoot this particular sequence; "Miranda Tate" was actually etched on the slab initially and later swapped out for Bruce digitally.

And John Blake's name being finally revealed as "Robin" wasn't actually an on-set development either, with that line only being recorded in a studio and laced into the flick later down the road.
