20 Things You Somehow Missed In The Mummy (1999)

Not everything from the original Mummy script made it into the finished product. Certain scenes proved to be unnecessary or unevenly paced, which led to them being shortened or cut entirely. Not wanting to screw up the continuity, these scenes were cut in a way so nothing seems amiss.

But certain mistakes still managed to slip through. While making their way through the treasure room, Rick, Jonathan, and Ardeth find themselves surrounded by Imhotep's revived minions. Although this battle was supposed to be much longer, Stephen Sommers thought it was better to truncate the action.

However, it's pretty noticeable there are a few shots missing. When the priests emerge from the ground, Jonathan is on Rick's left while Ardeth is on his right. In the very next shot, Rick and Ardeth have swapped places. Even though the editors did their best to tighten up this sequence, they couldn't figure out how to get around this error.
