6. Nefertiri's & Anck-su-Namun's Face-Off Is Foreshadowed
The aforementioned fight scene between Princess Nefertiri and Anck-su-namun is actually slyly foreshadowed right at the start of the film.
In the very first shot in which she appears in the film, we see Evelyn dusting away at an ancient mural which, upon closer inspection, appears to show two women fighting with bladed weapons.
Gee, doesn't that look familiar? It is, of course, a dead-accurate rendition of the historic fight between Nefertiri and Anck-su-namun we see later on, from the weapons down to the clothing the two ladies wear during the clash.
And yet, the scene is just dusty and low-lit enough that you couldn't be blamed too much for failing to notice it.
