2. Did Diana Ever Return To Themyscira? - Wonder Woman

The Question: When Diana first leaves Themyscira, her mother Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) suggests that she probably won't return, and fans have interpreted this many different ways.

Hippolyta may have been implying that Diana would die or simply be unable able to find her way back to the invisible island. In the 100 years following her departure, though, did she ever make her way back?

The Likely Answer: This will likely be explored in Wonder Woman 2 in some form, but it's certainly much more tragic and dramatically potent if Diana never finds a way back home, because it makes her decision to head out into the world really feel like it means something from a character perspective.

Then again, the temptation to give Diana an emotional reunion with Hippolyta is probably too overpowering to resist, and considering how fascinating Themyscira is, it'd be a shame if we never saw more of it.

Diana probably did find her way home over the century, but that doesn't mean you should bet on it.
