This was Indian's entry into the Foreign Language category at the 2009 Oscars, but it didn't make the final list, much to the county's chagrin." A lengthy musical about a child who struggles at school due to dyslexia, Like Stars On Earth is a moving, creative and innovative film that is yet to find a larger audience. Lisa Tsering at the Hollywood Reporter summed it up best when she said: "Sadly, film never will be seen by mainstream audiences; yet Chandni Chowk is enjoying a hefty publicity push. If only Like Stars On Earth could have gotten its hands on that magic potato."
