20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

11. Suburbicon

Natalie Portman Thor 2
Paramount Pictures

Actor:

Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron)

The Film:

This is an interesting case, since Oscar Isaac is great in Suburbicon. He's an absolute scene-stealer as a corrupt insurance agent and gives a charismatic and wonderfully unlikable pereformance. Too bad he barely appears in the movie.

Suburbicon was a disastrous bit of failed Oscar Bait. With director George Clooney, the Coen Brothers and a great cast on-board, this should've been fantastic but it ended up being a complete mess and essentially a 'nothing' movie.

It isn't funny, it isn't insightful, it isn't entertaining and it's more snooze-inducing than anything else. Oscar Isaac is the only person who needn't be ashamed of his role in this movie. Stick to acting next time George.
