20 Upcoming Movie Sequels That Could Be HUGE Improvements

Glass Onion was certainly a worthy follow-up to Rian Johnson's outstanding murder-mystery romp Knives Out, even if it didn't hit quite the same highs with some of its storytelling choices and the ultimately less satisfying nature of its payoff.

But the impending third film in the series, Wake Up Dead Man, looks like it could very well be a marked improvement over Glass Onion and perhaps even outdo the original.

For one, the cast is absolutely stacked, with Daniel Craig being joined by Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Johnson also promised that this threequel would be darker and more grounded than Glass Onion - a relief for anyone who felt the second film got a little too zany for its own good.

And best of all, it's received rave reviews so far since its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, with some prominent critics even dubbing it the best film in the franchise. That'd be quite the accomplishment, so here's hoping.
