20 Worst Movie Performances Of The Decade

1. Adam Sandler As Jack Sadelstein And Jill Sadelstein - Jack And Jill

Kevin James GrownUps
Columbia Pictures

This is not just the worst performance of the decade, but arguably one of the worst ever.

Adam Sandler seems lovely in real life and is actually talented, but tragically he rarely shows it these days and tends to take on projects like this monstrosity. In Jack and Jill, he plays a dull, unlikable man and his twin sister (in drag), who is easily one of the most nightmarishly annoying and downright disturbing film characters of them all, and with this double-act goes deeper into the recesses of cinematic hell than most performances could ever go.

Sandler's performance as Jack is incredibly dull, while his performance as Jill is unbelievably unfunny, headache-inducingly terrible and is more painful to watch than a compilation of Torture Porn movie kill scenes. Adam Sandler won all four Razzies that year (Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Screen Couple and Worst Screen Ensemble, which was shared with the rest of the cast) and if there was ever a performance that deserved that, it's this one.

So yes, this is the decade's worst film performance by far. Looking on the bright side, it's hard to imagine the 2020s containing anything as awful as this.
