16. The Entire Cast Of Slender Man
In terms of acting, horror movies are wildly inconsistent. Sometimes they're vehicles for unforgettably brilliant performances (that nearly always get snubbed by the Oscars) and sometimes they're full of awful ones.
While we're going through a horror revival there are still plenty of bad horror movies coming out all the time and with them many awful performances. Although we've seen some dreadful horror movie casts this decade, in terms of studio horror flicks Slender Man sticks out like a sore thumb.
Every single actor in this movie gives an absolutely toe-curling performance and they all look embarrassed to be there every moment of their screen-time. Admittedly, since Slender Man is arguably one of the worst films of the decade, horror or otherwise, anyone would be embarrassed to be in it but the cast could at least have tried to make the whole sorry ordeal less painful for anyone unfortunate enough to see it.
Alas, they were no doubt aware of how bad the film was and all of them, even solid actors like The Conjuring's Joey King and Oculus' Annalise Basso, phoned it in and gave sloppy, amateurish and insincere performances.
