14. The Book Of Love

Book Of Love Maisie Williams
Electric Entertainment

Pretty much anything that the main stars of Game Of Thrones do away from Westeros is bound to be the subject of inflated hype, so there will definitely have been those who kept an eye on The Book Of Love. Unfortunately, the fact that you possibly didn't even hear about it says everything you need to know about its quality.

Alongside Jason Sudeikis - who is usually also very good - Williams is at the heart of this well-intentioned portrait of grief and self-identity. Sadly, those good intentions are drowned in sugar and sentimentality courtesy of a very poor script that mangles Sudeikis' character so badly it's impossible to really care whether he actually manages to fulfil his dead wife's last wish.

It's just the definition of mediocrity, but it's hard not to be a little mad at it for wasting the twin talents at the top of its bill.
