Because garden variety zombies can get a bit boring, the post-apocalyptic third movie changes things up with the introduction of zombie crows.

In an unexpected and rather amusing homage to Hitchcock's The Birds, the zombie crows flock to the convoy headed up by Claire and Carlos Oliveira (Oded Fehr) and start pecking the poor survivors to pieces.

The sequence only comes to an end when Alice shows up out of nowhere and uses her special powers to deflect a flamethrower blast into the sky, creating an insane wall of fire that kills all the killer crows.

Thanks to some fantastic cinematography and surprisingly not-awful visual effects for the most part, this is one of the series' most effective and well-directed action sequences.
