9. Bob Kane's Wife's Cameo - Batman & Robin

Bob Kane was famously supposed to feature in the original Batman in a cameo but was unable to thanks to scheduling conflicts. His wife though did appear later in the franchise. She is the actress behind Gossip Gerty, the society columnist and entertainments news reporter who had unfeasible access to major Gotham events and who appears in both Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.

She also actually appeared in Batman Returns too in a small speaking part, prompting some fans to suggest the role is Gerty before she was compelled to take up her pen.
