Dumbledore not only has style, he is also the only wizard that Voldemort ever truly feared - even after his death The Dark Load is seen gloating over his grave: a coward's victory call. Dumbledore protected Harry from Voldemort for his whole life by placing a spell on Privet Drive that would shield Harry as long as he called that his home. He also defeated his friend (and possible lover) Grindelwald even though he had possession of The Elder Wand. No small feat. The former headmaster was also responsible for so much that if you listed everything, you would probably need the Philosopher's Stone to read through it all.
