16. Remus Lupin
Lupin's biggest appeal is his nobility and his role as a father figure to the younger characters in the group. He is a true Gryffindor at heart and the most rational, so it's a shame that he can't handle the sight of a full moon. When Fenir Greyback nibbled on Remus as a child, he was outcast and bullied for being half breed, andhis vulnerability is probably why he is so relatable for younger audiences. The reason he ranks in at number sixteen though is because he never learned how to channel the wolf within and use it to his advantage. In saying that, he could have been easily poisoned by evil and ended up like Greyback and his honour is perfectly phrased in the fact that even though he is wounded and broken, he never complains about it.
