15. The Insufferable British Boys
For the majority of the film, as Blake struggles to survive long enough in San Francisco for her parents to come rescue her, she acquires travelling companions in the form of two lads so English that their names might as well be 'Goodness' and 'Gracious'. Older brother Ben, spills coffee on himself and says things like 'oh bloody hell' and 'jolly good'. That's already pretty irritating, but his little brother takes the cake. He's a know-it-all brat, armed with a tourist's guide to San Francisco, an abundance of fun facts and the self-confidence of a sexual predator. When he spots Blake for the first time, he leans across and says, 'you know, you're quite beautiful'. He's ten. Yuck.
