Tim Robbins had a supporting role in 2011's Green Lantern movie, which is of course based on a DC title. He played Robert Hammond - the United States senator father of the movie's secondary villain, Hector Hammond - in what was a terrible attempt at adapting Green Lantern to the big screen. Fortunately for Robbins, his brief role meant he can't be blamed for its failures. Unfortunately for him, he can be blamed for a much more substantial contribution to 1986's Howard The Duck movie. One of the first Marvel movies, it was a truly horrendous affair. Robbins played Phil Blumburtt - a scientist who unsuccessfully attempted to help the titular avine character return to his home planet of Duckworld.
