8. The Kitchen Explodes... Twice (Paranormal Activity 2 & 3)

In PA2, Kristi goes into the kitchen later on in the film only to find herself scared half to death as every cupboard flings open in one of the series' best jump scares. PA3 went one better, though, by having Kristi's mother go into her kitchen, and just as audiences expected something similar to happen, instead, the entire contents of the kitchen fall from the ceiling, including tables, chairs and cooking equipment. It's a great, expectation-defying gag, and one that'll make you wonder, "How did they do that!?"
