PA2 ends with a disturbing troll of a climax. Several weeks after the curse is passed to Katie, she shows up at Kristi's house covered in blood (having clearly just murdered Micah), at which point she snaps Daniel's neck while he's watching TV and violently shoves Kristi into a wall, killing her instantly. Katie then grabs their young son Hunter and walks off into the night, ending on a wildly frustrating note that left fans of the series desperate to know what happened to poor Hunter during the filler sequel that was PA3.
