24 Actors That Played Two Different Characters In James Bond Movies
Ever wondered why CIA agent Jack Wade looked so familiar?
Many film franchises will have actors that have played more than one character. For example, in the MCU Gemma Chan played Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel and lead character Sersei in Eternals, while in Harry Potter Warwick Davis played both Professor Flitwick and Griphook the Goblin.
But most of those franchises just have a few such cases here and there; not with the James Bond franchise. When it comes to Bond, the number of actors who've played multiple characters is crazy.
This practice has died out a bit in the recent films, but the older films were constantly recycling actors from past instalments and frankly, for eagle-eyed viewers, working through the Bond franchise might become a strong case of Deja Vu.
Honestly, this could get a tad unsettling at times, especially since many of these actors were switching between heroic and villainous parts.
So, here are just some of the many cases of the same actor playing multiple different characters in the Bond franchise. How many did you spot?
24. Richard Graydon
Robert Graydon, a British stunt-performer who worked on the franchise for many years, mainly did stunt duties but also had four small acting roles in the films.
He played a Russian cosmonaut in You Only Live Twice, Draco's driver in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a space fighter in Moonraker and a circus stuntman called Francisco the Fearless (who was going to be launched out of the cannon the villains had stored a nuclear device in) in Octopussy. His roles in OHMSS and Moonraker were uncredited.
