Why You Forgot: With the Elm Street franchise having been at rest since 1994 and the Friday the 13th franchise having faced its misguided resurrection in 2001's Jason X, the promise of seeing the series' two icons on screen together laid out in the final moments of Jason Goes to Hell finally came to fruition in 2003. Far from scary, completely goofy and yet humorously watchable, the big crossover ended up leading both franchises nowhere until they faced their reboots several years later, which has also led nowhere.
A year before her breakout role as Kate on Lost, Lilly turned up in the background of the above high school-set scene - look for her in the green shirt - and it's fair to say that nobody noticed at the time. Over a decade later, the actress has turned up in The Hobbit trilogy and has even joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Ant-Man.
