11. Arnim Zola's Robotic Form (Captain America: The First Avenger)

In Captain America: The First Avenger, when the audience first encounters HYDRA scientist Arnim Zola, his face is shown enlarged in a magnifying glass. This is a very cool allusion to the comic book version of the character, who goes from being a human to becoming a massive head projected from a screen in the body of a headless robotic host. Also, when Zola picks up his paperwork ready to escape later on in the film, you can clearly see that some of it is the blueprints for that exact robotic body. Of course, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it was discovered that Arnim Zola had died, but had projected his consciousness into a computer. The computer was destroyed, but that's not say his consciousness was, so there's every chance that he could appear in his robotic form in the future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
