22. Harry And Hermione Dancing - Deathly Hallows Part I
Uh oh, controversy. Listen, a lot of people hate this scene, they think that it's cheesy or whatever, but it's actually a really sweet moment in the Harry Potter universe. And it's also interesting because it's one of those points where the films establish themselves as a separate entity from the books, because this is a scene that only could have taken place in the movies. In the novels, Ron and Harry are the super BFFs, and Hermione can't quite break into that bromance (when Harry and Ron are fighting, for example, Harry reflects on how much less fun it is to have Hermione as your best friend). But for whatever reason, Harry and Hermione have always come off as incredibly close in the films, with a little extra bit of chemistry that makes scenes like this possible. Ron has just left them, they're both miserable and stressed, and this is a way for them to blow off some steam. It showcases the beautiful friendship between Harry and Hermione, and for that reason alone it's nowhere near as lame as some people make it out to be.
