25 Best Shots In All Of Star Wars

7. The First Lightsaber

Film: Star Wars When: At Obi-Wan's hut The first time a lightsaber was ever seen on screen, the shot is constructed to show off the laser sword - the blade, the swoosh, the vfwing - in the best possible way, teasing the generations of Jedi Knights Obi-Wan begins talking of. The effect is clearly produced by cutting two separate takes - one with the blade, one without - but that can't take away the awesomeness of the saber itself, nor Luke's wide-eyed curiosity.
