Film: Star Wars When: As the Millennium Falcon is brought into the Empire's space station. Seeing the "small moon" slowly grow in the Falcon's circular viewport is certainly impressive, but having the Corellian freighter increasingly dwarfed by the space station is jaw-dropping. By this point we've spent a lot of time with the hunk of junk, both from the outside and in, which makes the shifting of scale all the more palpable. Star Wars had already pulled one great perspective jump (more on that later), but this one is equally impactful.
