Yet another visionary creation to come from the mind of South Korean filmmaker Chan-wook Park (the mastermind behind the likes of The Handmaiden and The Vengeance Trilogy), Thirst is, much like Park’s other films, a bold, violent, and beautifully put together film that every self-respecting film fan simply has to see.

Revolving around a priest named Sang-hyun (Kang-ho Song) who, after dying from a horrific disease he was trying to help cure, is given a blood transfusion in a last-ditch effort to save his life. However, it just so happened that he's given the blood of a vampire. Resurrecting from the dead with people believing him to be a modern-day saint, Sang-hyun must confront the duality of his religious and moral beliefs as he gives into his sinful, vampiric urges of blood and sex.

Stylish, insane, erotic, and intelligent, Thirst is a vampire film unlike any other that has continued to break new ground in the genre to spectacular effect.
