25 Incredible Star Wars Concept Art Designs You Need To See

16. Luke Grabbing Kylo's Sabre

At the end of The Last Jedi, Luke, knowing full well he was about to become one with the Force, gave his nephew Ben Solo/Kylo Ren a smirk, promising him he'd "see you around, kid" before disappearing into the ethereal realm of the Force.

Colin Treverrow, the original director of Star Wars Episode IX, took this quite literally. The leaked script and concept art of Treverrow's unused version of the film, Duel Of The Fates, shows a Force Ghost Luke haunting Kylo Ren, taunting him throughout the movie in an attempt to show him the error of his ways.

Further demonstrating Force Ghosts' ability to interact with the corporeal world, this photo-realistic piece of concept art shows a ghostly Luke Skywalker grabbing Kylo Ren's lightsaber, stopping it mid-swing during his final confrontation with Rey.

Talk about badass.
