There was no way this list could leave off the triumphant return of Wonder Woman to our screens this autumn.

It's been three long years since Gal Gadot's first starring outing in the role of Diana Prince, and Monster director Patty Jenkins will be back in the director's chair for this long-awaited sequel.

Gadot is back alongside Star Trek's Chris Pine, and although story specifics are under wraps for now, new arrivals to the cast this time around include Bridesmaids' Kirsten Wiig and Game of Thrones hero/ crushed head (spoilers) Pedro Pascal.

The pair will play the villains of the piece, an egotistical media overlord who definitely isn't based on any sitting president and the mild mannered archaeologist-turned-super-powered villain Cheetah. Two guesses which actor plays which role.
