Long delayed due to recent global events, Black Widow is the upcoming twenty fourth entry into the MCU's ever-expanding stable of films.

Following the adventures of Scarlett Johansson's Avenger after the events of 2016's Civil War, the film sees her confront her past as she attempts to evade capture.

Interestingly, the film is pitched as something of a family story, as well as a propulsive action thriller. Little Women star/ leading lady of the moment Florence Pugh plays a fellow assassin trained alongside Natasha Romanov, whilst Stranger Things hero/ regrettable Hellboy David Barbour stars as a comical Russian super soldier who acts as their father figure.

Meanwhile, The Mummy's Rachel Weisz rounds out the impressive line up as the seasoned spy who trained the two, a hard-edged mother figure.
