21. The Hitman's Bodybuard

Release Date: August 18th

Billed As: Another opportunity for Samuel L Jackson to drop all the MF bombs, as he plays a hitman guarded by the world's top bodyguard (Ryan Reynolds) in witness protection. It's basically a culture clash buddy cop flick without the badges.

Hype: Even when he's in terrible films, Ryan Reynolds is eminently watchable, and the same can mostly be said of Samuel L Jackson these days. At least playing the titular hitman will allow him to have fun, which is usually key to enjoying his work.

Alongside the central duo, seeing Gary Oldman playing an outrageous Eastern European villain is a huge draw (since he's done it before so well) that should add something even more fancy to the two-man show.
