8. Life Finds A Way (Jurassic Park)
Perhaps the most memorable line from any of the Jurassic Park movies is this one. Whilst in the laboratories of Jurassic Park - and after having forcefully ejected himself from the ride along with the other passengers - Ian Malcolm and company find out that all of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park have been genetically engineered to be female (by denying them the extra hormone required to become male at the developmental stage). Unconvinced that this method of birth control will work, the following conversation occurs:
Dr. Ian Malcolm: John, the kind of control you're attempting simply is... it's not possible. If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh... well, there it is.
John Hammond: There it is.
Henry Wu: You're implying that a group composed entirely of female animals will... breed?
Dr. Ian Malcolm: No, I'm, I'm simply saying that life, uh... finds a way. And he was right! Life found the way.
