6. Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2
Six years ago, Disney turned all self-aware for a video game movie that genuinely didn't suck in the shape of Wreck-It Ralph, the meta-comedy that turned supervillain conventions on its head for a sweet tale of identity and redemption.
Sure, Sarah Silverman's Vanellope was a LITTLE annoying, but the film delighted millions and we all immediately expected a sequel. That it's taken this long is a travesty, but at least it's finally on its way.
This time out, Ralph is wading into the murky waters of the Internet for knowing lampoonery of Internet culture, institutions and behaviour. Presumably minus any mention of porn. He's sent out to find a replacement part for Sugar Rush when it breaks and on his journeys we're promised an encounter with Disney princesses, which should represent an opportunity for Disney to poke fun at themselves again. That's always a nice change.
