25 Movie Sequels That Will Kick Ass In 2018

2. Deadpool 2

Sequels 2018
20th Century Fox

Though it made a shed-load of money and lots of people fell head over hells in love with it, Deadpool had its flaws - including the weakness of the supporting cast and the villains. It still definitely did a phenomenal job of giving Ryan Reynolds a proper chance to show off how perfectly cast he is as the Merc With A Mouth (and how well the character works in a movie), but it could have been better.

Aside from 'Pool's return, the big selling point of the sequel is the arrival of Josh Brolin's Cable, who is bound to clash with Wade - and won't take any of his sh*t - as well as Zazie Beetz's Domino. And hopefully Jack Kesey will further prove why he's rated so highly with a performance as Black Tom Cassidy that outdoes the inferior villains of the first movie.

We can expect the same sort of outrageous humour, but the hire of David Leitch as director might mean we get even more violence to go along with it, which is no bad thing for an R-Rated superhero movie. Particularly with fears that Disney might clip this property's wings when they exert full control.
