25 Movie Sequels That Will Kick Ass In 2018

Sometimes, all you really need is a bit of silliness.

It's probably fair to say that the original Super Troopers movie has grown into a bit of a cult classic since its release in 2001. Looking at its Rotten Tomatoes, you'd correct surmise that that also means it wasn't very good - but it did provide some disposable, silly comedy and that's not always the worst thing.

The sequel - an unexpected addition to this year's slate to say the least - sees five "wacky" state troopers who must set up a new highway patrol station as the United States and Canada dispute the location of the border. Aside from the word "wacky", this does not sound primed for comedy, but the fact that it was successful part-crowd funded suggests there's still an audience 17 years on.
