25 Movie Sequels That Will Kick Ass In 2018
20. The Strangers: Prey At Night
A full ten years after the original was released, 47 Meters Down director Johannes Roberts is bringing The Strangers back to the big screen.
After the original ended on the down beat of the Strangers killing Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman's heroic pair before heading out into the night mentioning that "next time will be easier", a sequel was always inevitable. The fact that it made over $80m on a $9m budget also assured that, though it's still surprising that it's taken this long.
It's likely to be more of the same, with the plot outline suggesting it will see a group that gets stranded in a deserted mobile home park, once more stalked by three masked villains. If that's what drew you to the creepy original, it should do it for you again this time.
