25 Movies That Would Have Been BETTER As TV Shows

Epic tales of grand adventure within the fantasy genre have been told cinematically before, and there is always the example of The Lord of the Rings trilogy to prove that it can be done. However, most films aren't The Lord of the Rings, and plenty of fantasy epics are left wanting on the big screen.

This could be down to the scale of the story not fitting into the window of a movie run time, characters going underdeveloped, or leaving much of the story out. In the case of Clash of the Titans, it's all three.

Though focusing on one specific character from Greek mythology more than others, there is so much more that could be explored, and could inspire the story. Naturally, the extra time afforded by a series would allow for this, as well as a further exploration of the characters and stories that actually were adapted.

Perseus (Sam Worthington) certainly wouldn't have said no to more depth in character, as well as just about all of the supporting characters. Of course, since there were so many having to fight over screen time, some of them were bound to be left wanting. At the very least, who wouldn't have enjoyed seeing more of the Pantheon of Gods, something that was used so sparingly at best?

Just because this was a remake of a movie, doesn't mean it had to be made into a movie again.
