Predicted Critical Consensus: "Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are an undeniably well-matched pair who give it their all, but Central Intelligence's forgettable script and flat jokes do them little justice." The Rock is just one of those actors who can easily survive a fleet of rotten movies, so he'll likely get praise as usual for being an insanely charismatic presence, even though he's working with a so-so script, and of course, Kevin Hart is incredibly hit-and-miss with, well, everyone. It won't be as insufferable as something like the Ride Along movies, but it also won't hit the buddy heights of something like Lethal Weapon, which it's clearly aspiring to. You'll enjoy The Rock's presence and then probably forget you even saw it a week later.
