25 Quentin Tarantino Characters You Didn't Know Were Related

8. Crazy Craig & Captain Koons

Relationship: Probably Great Great Grandfather And Great Great Grandson (ish)

Though the older character isn't actually seen on screen in Django Unchained, Tarantino included a reference to Pulp Fiction in Django Unchained in the shape of Crazy Craig Koons. His name appears on a wanted poster proclaiming him part of the Smitty Bacall gang. Meanwhile his distant great, great (possibly great) grandson went to war, met a man named Coolidge and put his watch up his bottom.

Interestingly, Craig Koons was the original name for Seymour Scagnetti in Reservoir Dogs, which would have tied him closer to Captain Koons (as his son), but the naming was changed and two families were made rather than one.
