25 Things You Didn’t Know About Pulp Fiction

2. Tarantino Made John Travolta Choose Between Pulp Fiction & From Dusk Till Dawn

Tarantino had John Travolta in mind for a role in one of his two upcoming movies, offering him either Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction or Seth Gecko in From Dusk Till Dawn, the latter role being eventually played by George Clooney opposite Tarantino (who played his brother Richie).

Travolta obviously picked Pulp Fiction, hilariously telling Tarantino, "It's simple Quentin, I'm just not a vampire guy."

While the prospect of Travolta in a vampire movie is pretty damn alluring, nobody will try to convince him he made the wrong choice here. An Oscar nomination and fully resurrected career say otherwise.
