20. The Condom Joke Was Suggested By Carrey

One of the many memorable moments in The Mask sees the superhero being chased by gangsters and transforming himself into a circus balloon artist.

And though it flew over the heads of every kid watching, adults will no doubt laugh uproariously at the moment where The Mask pulls a seemingly used condom out of his pocket before quipping, "Sorry, wrong pocket!" and throwing it away.

This beat was actually suggested by Carrey himself, which makes sense, given that writing it into the shooting script probably would've raised a few producers' eyebrows.

As it stands, the moment is over so fast there's not much time for kids to even question it, especially back in the glory days of blurry VHS tapes.
